Biedriba Eurofortis (BEFO) is a multicultural non-governmental organisation working in training and capacity building. Since 2007, Biedrība Eurofortis takes active part in European educational projects carried out within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme. In these projects their role is to ensure the availability of educational and up-to-date learning materials, tools and methods, as well as developing seminars and training oriented to increase the competences and knowledge of the trainees.

Biedriba Eurofortis has a wide expertise in providing continuous training for local schools, enterprises and the society in general. Biedriba Eurofortis has critical competences for the successful development of the training programme, including content generation for e-learning and development of research and assessment tools.  Biedriba Eurofortis has also experience in event management and dissemination activities within European funded projects.

Role in EWEAS

BEFO will lead the design of the scripts and the structure of the e-Learning platform, for web and mobile applications, which will host the training contents, the audio-visual material and the Q&A. BEFO is mainly responsible for the programming of the training platform and IT to ensure accessibility, robustness and functionality of the training programme and the e-Learning platform.

Key people

Ms Adela Vitkovska studied Business Administration at the College of Economic Studies in Prague with a specialisation on European Entrepreneurship. She is a member of Biedriba Eurofortis and Director of Eurofortis IT SIA and trained EFQM assessor. She is responsible for the company development, general management, project and financial management as well as co-ordination of project activities in Latvia. Her EU project experience started in 2001 when she worked as assistant for the Regional agency responsible for pre-structural funds in the Czech Republic.

Ms Vanda Novoksonova is a certified EFQM Assessor and Internal EFQM Assessor (IAT) with experience in Quality Management Training, and recognised assessor of EFQM Awards, Latvian Quality awards for Medical sector and International Quality Innovation awards, as well as an implementation of Excellence approach and development of GOA-Solutions® methodology for Latvian and Czech markets. Vanda is the vice-president of the Latvian Society for Quality with responsibility for international relations and EFQM related activities. Vanda finalised her studies in the field of international relationships and sales. Mr Markuss Jānis Švāģeris is a Project manager with a wide experience in European project implementation. Markuss is working as international project manager at Eurofortis. He is currently studying Business administration with main focus on marketing, sales and international business relationships. Markuss will be responsible for the correct implementation of the project , the communication with potential clients, the coordination of pilot testing activities, the organisation of the project events and the dissemination from Eurofortis side.
